Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 3 c. flour (plain)

Directions

    Beat two minutes or until well mixed.

    Then add 3 more cups plain flour.

    Knead down.

    Let rise 1/2 size.

    Put oil over top of dough.

    Put cloth over bowl and place in refrigerator.

    When ready to bake, roll out as many as needed, let rise and bake at 425° for 15 to 18 minutes.
