- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. honey
- 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 c. oat bran
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- dash of powdered ginger
- 1 c. apple juice
- 1/4 c. white raisins (optional)
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, blend together oil, honey and egg whites.

2In separate bowl, stir flour and dry ingredients together.

3Add flour mixture and apple juice together all at once to honey mixture.

4Stir until the dry ingredients are just moistened.

5Fold in raisins if desired.

6Spoon batter into lightly oiled (or sprayed)

79 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

8Bake in 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until cake pulls away from sides of pan.
