  • 1 c. honey
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Directions

    Pour honey into an iron skillet and bring to a boil.

    Beat eggs well and slowly add to hot honey, stirring constantly.

    Add salt, vanilla and pecans.

    Pour into pie shell and put butter over top.

    Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, then bake for 20 minutes at 300°.
