- 3 cups plums Pitted and coarsely chopped purple, about 1 lb
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons liquid honey
Directions

1Combine the plums, sugar, water and lemon juice in saucepan.

2Bring to boil, reduce heat, but maintain boil.

3Stir and mash occasionally with back of spoon for about 15 minutes, or until thickened.

4Remove from heat, stir in honey.

5Allow to cool to room temperature.

6Refrigerate in tightly covered jars for up to 2 weeks.
