- 2 active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 cups milk Warm
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- oil Vegatable
- honey
- ground cinnamon
Directions

1Combine yeast and warm water in a 2 cup liquid measuring cup; let stand 5 minutes.

2Combine yeast mixture, warm milk and next 3 ingredients, stir with a wooden spoon until blended.

3Add flour, 1 cup at a time, stirring after each addition.

4Cover and let rise in a warm place 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.

5Pour oil to a depth of 4 inches in Dutch oven. Heat to 375.

6Drop dough by tablespoonfuls into oil, and fry till golden brown, turning once. Keep warm and repeat with remaining dough.

7To serve, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
