Hot Broccoli Dip

  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped and cooked broccoli, drained
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (6 oz.) roll garlic cheese, diced

Directions

    Saute onions, celery and mushrooms in margarine and add cooked broccoli, lemon juice and cayenne.

    Mix mushroom soup and cheese into broccoli mixture.

    Cook over low heat until cheese is melted. Serve in a chafing dish.
