Hot Broccoli Dip

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
  • 1 can condensed mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. Kraft garlic cheese, sliced
  • generous squeeze lemon juice

Directions

    Saute onion, celery and mushrooms in butter until tender.

    Add to broccoli.

    Mix in mushroom soup and cheese; cook over low heat until cheese is melted and well blended.

    A squeeze of lemon juice helps to retain the green color.

    Serve in a chafing dish with white corn chips, tostados or Melba rounds.
