- 4 c. long grain rice
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped
- 8 oz. Monterey Jack, shredded
- 1 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cook rice.

2Mix in chilies, sour cream and 3/4 of the cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.

3Mix together.

4Pour into a 2 1/2-quart casserole.

5Add remaining cheese on top.

6Pat 1 tablespoon butter on top.

7Bake for 45 minutes at 350° in uncovered dish.
