- 12 ounces, weight Chorizo
- 1/2 whole Medium Onion, Chopped
- 1 whole Jalapeno, Stem Removed And Diced
- 1 cup Refried Beans
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cumin
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Divided
- 2 whole Green Onions, diced

2Turn on the oven broiler.

4In a pan, cook chorizo until cooked through.

5Transfer to a plate.

6Reserve 1 tablespoon of pan drippings.

8In the same pan that you cooked the chorizo in, cook the onion and jalapenos just until softened, 2 3 minutes.

9Return chorizo to the pan and stir in refried beans, ground cumin and half of the cheddar cheese.

10Cook until the beans are warmed through and the cheese has melted.

11Transfer dip to a oven safe small baking dish.

12Top with remaining cheese and place under the broiler for 3 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
