  • 1/4 c. canning salt
  • 2 cloves garlic (per jar)
  • 2 pods hot pepper (per jar)
  • 1/2 medium onion, sliced or quartered (per jar)
  • small whole cucumbers
  • 1 head and 1 piece stalk dill weed (per jar)

    and dill in large mouth quart jar.

    Bring to a rolling boil water, vinegar and salt. Pour over cucumbers
