- 8 slices bacon
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (15 oz.) can dark red kidney beans
- 1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans
- 1 (1 lb.) can lima beans
- 1 (1 lb.) can cut wax beans
- 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans
Directions

1In a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain, reserving 1/4 cup drippings.

2Return reserved drippings to skillet.

3Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper.

4Blend into drippings.

5Stir until boiling.

6Drain all beans.

7Stir into skillet.

8Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

9Turn into serving dish.

10Crumble bacon over top.

11Makes 10 to 12 servings.
