Hot Pepper Spread

Ingredients

  • 3 doz. hot peppers, ground
  • 3 lb. brown sugar
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1 qt. fresh mustard (I use French's)
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Put all ingredients in large pan and boil 15 minutes.

    Add 1 1/2 cups flour, mixed into thin paste.

    Cook entire mixture 5 more minutes.

    Seal in hot, sterile jars.

    Excellent on meat.
