- 2 c. hot water
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. Crisco, melted
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 pkg. dry yeast
- 5 c. all-purpose flour (add more if needed)
Directions

1Put warm water into a bowl; add egg, salt, Crisco and sugar and dissolve well.

2Make sure mixture is warm.

3Add yeast that has been dissolved in the warm water for about 3 minutes.

4Add flour a small amount at a time; mix well.

5Let set 5 minutes.

6Put on floured board or table on wax paper and knead.

7Make into rolls; let rise about 25 to 30 minutes.

8Bake at 400° for about 15 minutes or until done.

9Brush with melted butter.
