- 4 to 6 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 sticks oleo, melted
- 6 c. scalded milk
- 16 c. flour (approximately)
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. cold water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Mix yeast and sugar well.

2Stir in warm water (not too hot). Set aside until becomes spongy.

3In large bowl, beat the eggs.

4Add sugar and salt; beat well.

5Pour in milk and oleo; mix well.

6Add 3 cups flour and stir.

7Pour in yeast and 2 cups flour; beat well. Beat in flour to medium stiff dough.

8Turn onto floured surface; knead 3 minutes.

9Place in oiled bowl; turn to coat.

10Cover and let rise until doubled in volume.
