Ingredients

  • 2 (14 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. cilantro leaves
  • 1 medium jalapeno, minced

Directions

    Drain liquid from 1 can of tomatoes.

    Pour into blender or food processor.

    Pour entire contents of the other can into liquid from previous can of tomatoes.

    Add onion, salt, garlic salt, cilantro leaves and jalapenos; blend well.

    Add the tomatoes from the drained can; blend just slightly to break up the tomatoes into pieces.

    Pour sauce into container and chill.

    Will last for a couple of weeks in refrigerator.
