- 1 cup huckleberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 pint water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions

1simmer huckleberries and water for 10 minutes until juice is dark red but huckleberries retain shape.

2sift together the sugar and cornstarch.

3slowly add the dry ingredients to hot liquid stirring constantly until thick.

4add huckleberries back into thickened juice.

5cool slightly and enjoy.
