Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (8 oz.) crushed pineapple (do not drain)
  • 3 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Add beaten eggs and salad oil, stirring by hand.

    (Do not use mixer.)

    Stir in vanilla, pineapple, nuts and bananas.

    Spoon butter in 3 (9-inch) cake pans, greased and floured.

    Cook for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.

    Let set in pans to cool for 10 minutes.

    Remove and ice with cream cheese icing.
