- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 2 fresh garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 -2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 lemon, juice of
- salt
Directions

1Drain chickpeas and reserve liquid.

2Pour chickpeas into a powerful blender or food processor.

3Add around 1-2 tablespoons of the chickpea liquid, tahini, garlic, lemon juice and olive oil to the chickpeas.

4Blend until smooth.

5If you would like it to be less dense, add liquid and blend until you reach your desired consistency.

6Add salt near the end of blending, to your taste.
