  • 1 large onion
  • 2 Tbsp. Crisco
  • knife tip of sweet Hungarian paprika
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 lb. meat, cubed
  • salt
  • pepper
  • caraway seed
  • 1 potato
  • shell pasta

Directions

    Brown onion in a large frying pan in Crisco. Add paprika, green pepper and carrot.

    Add meat to pan and let it simmer until tender, covered.
  3. 3
    Stir it with a wooden spoon.
  4. 4
    You may add a potato (quartered) with some water to pan or boil shell pasta and add to pan.

    Season with salt, pepper and caraway seed.
