Hungarian Torte Cake

- 12 eggs
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/3 c. ground nutmeats
- 1 1/3 c. cake flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Separate eggs. Beat whites separately until stiff.

2Beat sugar and yolks until fluffy.

3Add flour and baking powder.

4Fold in by hand the walnuts (pecans) and vanilla.

5Add to egg whites and fold.

6Grease 3 round cake pans.

7Bake at 375° for 20 minutes. Allow to cool.

8Ice with a good chocolate icing between layers.
