  • 1 c. cooking oil
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift together flour, sugar, soda, cocoa and salt.

    Blend in oil and buttermilk.

    Add eggs, mixing well.

    Add boiling water, mixing well.

    Pour batter into 2 greased and floured cake pans. Bake for 35 minutes in 375° oven.
