Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • dash of garlic salt and pepper
  • 1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 C. chopped onion
  • 6 oz. egg noodles
  • 1 - 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 1/2 C. grated cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown beef and drain. Add seasonings, sugar and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Cook noodles as directed on package. Blend onions, sour cream and cream cheese. Grease 2 1/2 qt. casserole. Alternate layers of noodles, meat sauce, sour cream and grated cheese. End with layer of cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
