Ice Cream Roll

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Beat eggs, salt and vanilla.

    Add other ingredients.

    Pour into wax papered jelly roll pan.

    Bake at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes. Pour onto powdered sugar coated pillow case (yes a real linen pillow case) and roll up.

    Cool completely.

    Fill with 1/2 gallon softened vanilla ice cream (or another kind if you prefer).

    Roll up.

    Freeze.

    Slice and serve.

    (I sometimes slice individual pieces, wrap and freeze.)
