Ice in Drink Bottle

10 steps
Ingredients
- 200 -300 ml water
- water
- water
Directions
-
1Carefully place water in the bottom of a 600mL/1 pint/ 20 oz plastic bottle.
-
2It is important a this stage to ensure the water is not placed in the top of the bottle except insofar as to pass through it into the bottom.
-
3Place the uncapped bottle upright or on a slight angle in the FREEZER part of your 'fridge.
-
4Ensure that the angle of the bottle to the horizontal is at least 70 degrees or else the water may attempt to remain at the top of the bottle.
-
5This is never a good thing.
-
6Leave overnight (or longer if your ridgy-didge is pretty weak).
-
7When the water no longer attempts to reach the top of the bottle, no matter how much you move it (the bottle, not the water - otherwise it is clearly not ready), it is ready.
-
8Carefully place more water in the bottle, allowing it to reach the top this time.
-
9Close cap on bottle and wrap in your daggiest tea towel.
-
10Tip: You can top up the runny water when it runs out but only if there is still some non-runny water in the bottle.
