- 1/2 lb. Crisco, melted
- 1/4 lb. butter, melted
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 5 c. plain flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Cream butter, Crisco and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time. Sift dry ingredients; add to shortening, sugar and eggs.

3Mix well.

4Stir in nuts.

5Roll in wax paper; leave in refrigerator overnight.

6Slice very thin.

7Bake in a 350° oven until lightly browned.

8Store in jar or tin.

9Roll may be kept in refrigerator for several days and cookies baked at different times.
