- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 1/2 c. butter, oleo or shortening
- 3 eggs, unbeaten
- 6 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cream the sugars and shortening together.

2Add the flour, soda, salt mixture, unbeaten eggs and vanilla alternately to the creamed ingredients.

3Add nuts.

4Form into loaves.

5Shape cookies anyway you want (round, square, oblong).

6Let set in refrigerator overnight.

7Slice and bake at 325° to 350° about 12 minutes until brown.
