- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. molasses
- 2 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. hot water
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, and molasses. Add soda and buttermilk alternately with flour.

2Add spices.

3Store in refrigerator until needed.

4Makes 6 dozen small muffins.

5Bake at 375° for 6 minutes.
