- 3 c. fresh mint leaves
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- juice of 3 lemons
Directions

1Pound mint leaves to a pulp.

2Add 2 tablespoons sugar and pound again.

3Make a syrup by boiling 2 1/2 pints of water with remaining sugar for 5 minutes.

4Take pan off heat; allow to cool. Add the lemon juice and mint pulp.

5Stir well together.

6Chill for several hours.
