- 1/4 c. corn meal
- 2 c. hot skim milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 c. cold skim milk
- nutmeg
Directions

1Slowly add corn meal into hot milk, stirring over low heat until thick (15 minutes).

2Remove from heat.

3Mix sugar, soda and spices and stir into corn meal mixture.

4Thoroughly mix in molasses and cold milk.

5Pour into 1-quart casserole dish.

6Bake at 275° for 2 hours.

7Serve warm sprinkled with nutmeg.
