- 1 pt. milk
- 1 c. corn meal
- 1 qt. milk
- 1/2 c. corn syrup or molasses
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 scant tsp. ginger
Directions

1Bring 1 pint milk to a boil.

2Stir in the corn meal; cook until thick.

3Put into a baking dish.

4Add 1 quart milk, corn syrup or molasses, salt, raisins and ginger.

5Bake, stirring often, for about 1 1/2 hours in a 350° oven until thick.
