- 1/2 c. corn meal
- 2 c. hot milk
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 c. molasses
- 1 c. cold milk
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Gradually add corn meal to hot milk.

2Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and slightly thickened.

3Add molasses. Beat eggs.

4Add sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt, then add cold milk and mix well.

5Pour into 1 1/2-quart greased pudding dish.

6Bake in slow oven at 275° to 300° for 2 hours.

7Serve hot with whipped cream or ice cream.
