- 1 c. fat
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2/3 c. raisins, soaked with rum to cover
Directions

1Combine fat and sugar; cream until very light.

2Add eggs; add flour.

3Fold in raisins and rum.

4Cook in loaf pan 1 hour at 350°. Check cake at 45 minutes.

5Bake until mix begins to pull away from the sides of pan and straw pushed into the center of the cake comes out clean.

6(Do not overbake.)
