  • 3 -5 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar (white or brown)
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter (soft)
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

    Preheat oven at 375°F.

    Layer apples in a greased pan (9x13).

    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.

    Mix soft butter and milk. Add to dry ingredients. Combine well.

    Mix egg, milk and vanilla. Add to batter mixture and combine well.
