  • 1 box (389g Or 13 3/4 Ozs Size) Idahoan Instant Mashed Potato Flakes (about 5 1/2 Cups)
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder (optional)
  • 4 ounces, weight Softened Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cups Sour Cream
  • 2 cups Whipping Cream
  • 4 cups Boiling Water
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 1/4 cups Butter
  • 1/4 teaspoons Paprika (optional)

Directions

    In a large mixing bowl, stir mashed potato flakes, salt, and garlic powder.

    In a bowl, whip softened cream cheese and sour cream. Add whipping cream and beat until smooth. Add mixture, boiling water, and milk to potato flakes. Stir until combined. Let sit 5 minutes to rehydrate.

    Transfer to 2 greased 9x13 pans, or a cast iron Dutch oven sprayed with cooking spray. Slice butter and place on top. Bake at 300°F for 90 minutes or until piping hot.
