- 6 slices bacon
- 3 medium potatoes, pared and chopped (2 c.)
- 2 1/2 (1 lb.) cans whole kernel corn
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Chop bacon and cook in soup pan until crispy.

2Do not drain. Add onions and saute until soft.

3Add potatoes and 2 cups of the water; salt and pepper.

4Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

5Stir in corn with liquid.

6Blend the flour with the remaining water and stir into chowder.

7Cook, stirring constantly, until chowder thickens and bubbles, about 3 minutes. Ready to serve.
