- 2 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 Tbsp. caraway seed
Directions

1Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Work in shortening with pastry blender. Stir in milk.

2Add raisins and seeds.

3Turn out onto lightly floured surface.

4Knead for 20 minutes.

5Place dough in greased 9-inch round pan.

6Bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes.
