- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 3 lb. beef, cubed
- 3 white onions, chopped
- 2 c. beef stock
- 1 lb. carrots, chopped
- 1 lb. parsnips, chopped
- 1 lb. rutabagas, chopped
- 1 lb. potatoes, chopped
- 2 c. dark beer
Directions

1Heat a pan with oil.

2Saute meat until well done.

3You may have to cook meat in 3 separate batches.

4Remove meat.

5Using same oil, saute onions for 8 minutes.

6Add meat back to pan.

7Pour beer and beef stock in; cover.

8Let cook for 1 hour on low heat.

9Add vegetables; cover.

10Simmer for 1 hour.
