Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons oleo
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 2 cups canned tomatoes
  • 1 12 teaspoons salt
  • 1 (1 lb) package noodles (cooked by package directions)
  • 14 lb mild cheese (grated)

Directions

    Melt butter in iron kettle, (may use a regular skillet).

    Add ground beef and cook until lightly browned.

    Add onions and cook 5 minutes longer.
  4. 4
    Add tomatoes, salt, cooked noodles and cheese; mix well.

    (If using regular skillet, transfer to casserole dish) and set aside.

    If using iron skillet set iron skillet full of ingredients aside for 1 hour for blending of flavors.

    Then bake at 350 for 1 hour.
