- 1 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Mix cornmeal, baking soda and sugar together.

2Add liquids to dry mix.

3Pour in a preheated 9-inch iron skillet in which 1 tablespoon oleo is melted.

4Bake 30 minutes in 450° oven.

5Mixture is very thin before baking.
