  • 3 to 4 lb. arm or chuck roast
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 small jar mild green peppers and juice
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 tsp. caraway seed
  • 1 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cans beer

Directions

    Simmer meat 4 or 5 hours, until meat is very tender.

    Remove meat from liquid.

    Remove any bone or fat.

    Shred meat; return to liquid.

    Serve on sourdough rolls.
