- 3 to 5 lb. rump or sirloin roast
- 3 to 4 garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 3 to 4 c. water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Cut slits in roast, insert garlic cloves.

3Combine all other ingredients in Dutch oven pot, add roast and cover.

4Bake in oven about 2 hours, cool slightly. Slice thin, then place back in pot and cook 1 to 1 1/2 hours longer.

5Serve on Italian bread.
