Ingredients
- 4 lb. rump roast
- 2 Tbsp. oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 4 tsp. caraway seed
- 4 medium onions, sliced thin
- 2 whole garlic cloves
- 3/4 c. water
- salt and pepper
- 4 green peppers, sliced
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Put meat in Dutch oven; add rest of ingredients on top, except peppers and 2 cups water.

2Cover and cook 2 hours over low flame, turning occasionally.

3Take meat out and cool; slice thin.

4Remove garlic and bay leaves.

5Add the sliced green peppers and 2 cups water.

6Simmer for 1/2 hour.

7Put meat in and simmer another 1/2 hour.
