Ingredients

  • 1 (5 to 7 lb.) rump roast
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • Tabasco sauce (few drops)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped

Directions

    Cook roast; cool and slice thinly.

    To drippings in pan, add water and bouillon cubes.

    Add seasonings, garlic and green pepper. Simmer 15 minutes.

    Add sliced beef and marinate in refrigerator overnight.

    Heat and serve.
