- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 7 eggs
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 2 tsp. lemon rind, grated
- 2 lb. flour (about)
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream sugar with butter.

2Add eggs, lemon flavoring and lemon rind.

3Sift into mixture flour and baking powder.

4Use enough flour to make dough stiff enough to roll into long thin rolls. Twist pieces into a twig shape.

5Bake at 375° for about 12 minutes.

6Ice with powdered sugar glaze if desired.
