Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 to 3 c. flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- sesame seed to taste
- 1/4 c. cornmeal (approximately)
Directions

1Stir together in a large bowl the flour, yeast, sugar and salt.

2Mix together the warm water and oil.

3Add to flour-yeast mixture and beat well with electric beater.

4Stir in 1 1/2 to 2 cups of flour.

5Knead in 1/2 to 1 cup of flour.

6Let rise 1 hour in oiled bowl.

7Punch down. Shape into 2 loaves.

8Let rise 1/2 hour.

9Sprinkle cornmeal on pan and place bread into it.

10After it rises, make slits.

11Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seed.

12Bake 30 minutes in a 375° oven.
