Italian Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cooked noodles
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 lb. mild Italian sausage, cut in bite size pieces
  • 4 oz. sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese or Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) can pizza sauce
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    Cook noodles as directed on package. Rinse and drain.

    In skillet over low heat, brown sausage and onions.

    Drain.

    In mixing bowl, toss together noodles, sausage, onions, mushrooms, 1 3/4 cups cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella) and pizza sauce.

    Put in casserole.

    Bake 20 to 25 minutes.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and remaining cheese.

    Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer, uncovered.
