  • 1 c. rice, prepared
  • 6 pieces chicken
  • 1 stick margarine
  • flour
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Melt the margarine or butter in pan or baking dish.

    Salt and roll chicken in flour; place in baking dish with melted margarine. Brown in oven for 15 minutes on each side.

    Arrange cooked rice around and in between chicken.

    Add the chopped onions, celery and drained tomatoes.

    Salt and pepper; top with small dots of margarine.

    Cover with foil.

    Bake on a lower heat (200°) for 1 hour.
