  • 6 c. flour
  • 6 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. melted shortening
  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or any other flavoring
  • any icing

Directions

    In a large bowl, sift first 4 ingredients together.

    Make a well and add shortening, milk, eggs and vanilla.

    Mix well. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes; be careful not to burn the bottoms. When slightly cooled, ice with desired frosting and sprinkle with colored sugars.
