Ingredients

  • 2 large cans tomato puree
  • 1 large crushed tomato
  • 1 bunch fresh basil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • pinch of salt and pepper
  • pinch of sugar
  • 1 pkg. pork neck bones
  • 5 or 6 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    In large pot heat olive oil.

    Add pork bones until lightly browned.

    Add 1/2 clove garlic, then add puree and water.
  4. 4
    Put in crushed tomatoes and put in some Parmesan cheese.

    Add salt, pepper, sugar and 6 basil leaves.

    Put in some more garlic.

    Bring to boil, then turn down heat to low.

    Cook about 2 or 3 hours. Stir well every so often.

    Serve with favorite pasta and garlic bread.
