Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
- 1 onion
- 1 green pepper
- 3/4 c. barbecue sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. rosemary, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 2 bay leaves
Directions

1Leave roast whole and place in pan.

2Chop onion and green pepper and place on top of roast.

3Mix remaining ingredients and pour around roast.

4Cover and bake at 300° for 5 hours.

5Remove, cool and shred meat, removing fat and bones.

6Put meat back into sauce and bake for 1/2 hour more.

7Great on hard rolls as sandwiches.
